Great Pretender left fans with a happy ending; however, it was more of an open-ended conclusion, so no one can confidently say that the series won’t be back. In fact, there are many possibilities that give the impression that the show might come back for another season. The season finale was about the heist that Edamura pulled off with the Confidence Man team. However, the fans were left with many possibilities that included interpersonal drama and more heists in the future. After completing their final heist, Edamura and Laurent sit with each other to discuss the implications of their retirement and their plans.
