The first step in designing a new house is deciding whether you want to build the home from scratch or remodel an existing one. Each process can be equally as difficult and stressful, but each provides its own challenges as well. For instance, if you’re building from scratch, there’s always the risk that your design won’t work with the space available or that you’ll overestimate your budget and run out of money before you get all of the rooms done.
